The idea of this site is to share my Journey around the canals and waterways of England.
My constant travel companion is Blizzard my three year old Siberian Husky. Together we live aboard our 58ft narrowboat, Nodoka, in Crick Marina.
We were not meant to still be here, but with last winter being the dryest for a long time and the very hot summer the canals and the reservoirs are low enough to mean that travel has not been possible with most of the locks being closed.
